Support
for people with Intersex Conditions and Gender Dysphoria and their Families.
Gaia’s Angels is set up as a charity – registration is
pending – to provide help and
support to people, including children, with intersex
conditions and/or gender dysphoria
and to their families and carers, and to provide information to any other body that requires
it, either in general or for a specific case.
Where children are concerned, Gaia’s Angels complies
fully with The Children’s Act’s. If
possible we try to ensure that Gaia’s Angels only sees
children in the presence of a “responsible
adult”, unless the child is in mortal fear of family or
carers or is in danger of being subjected to “cruel
and inhumane treatment”, in which case we seek help of a
more appropriate body including the
United Nations. Gaia’s Angels works closely with Press
For Change, which is set up to provide legal
advice and political campaigning rather than pastoral
care and education.
People with Intersex conditions and Gender Dysphoria
are Not Sick.
If they become sick it is because of the prejudice and
hatred of society and their families. Rather they
are unique individuals and often have a special contribution
they could make to society, if they were not so oppressed by society. This
is why they should be considered to be ANGELS.
